Last nite on 60 Minutes
they had a segment on the Blacks NOT helping the police.

But, How about this -
I believe it is SOME Cable TV that is harming their viewers
and, those viewers in turn hurt ALL OF US.

BET and MTV.
They SHOULD be working to IMPROVE the community.
NOT destroy it, as they are doing now.

They have the RIGHT to BAN songs and videos that use certain words,
and I think we should start working together to convince them that they should.

I have started a Google Docs & Spreadsheet on it,

NV Governor Jim Gibbons, who the FBI is investigating, for helping a defense contractor, while a member of congress
The investigation was the probable cause of the firing of US Attorney Daniel Bogden (NV).

NOW the WSJournal reports = Gibbon's wife - Dawn - "got at least $35,000 in consulting frees in 2004 from Sierra Nevada Corp."

"Gibbons, a five-term Republican who served on the armed services and intelligence committee, sought funding that year for Sierra Nevada for a $4 MILLION contract to develop a helicopter radar-landing system."

The Las Vegas local newspaper - the Review Journal - has never tied the firing of the US Attorney - Daniel Bogden - to the Gibbons Investigation.

Everyone NEEDS access to a Health Care Plan.

Medicare should kick in at birth.

But, it should be BARE BONES,

covering those things that happen to at least

1/2 of us.

Wealthy people - that can afford it, should

BUY insurance for ANYTHING OVER BARE BONES coverage.

Frankly, I can't afford it.

If I needed a transplant

I couldn't get one.

That should be handled by Private Insurance.

Cable consumers WANT CHANNEL CHOICE.
Cable companies say - oh, there is NO WAY we could do that,
but Google is working with Cable companies to Target ADS TO YOUR TV SET,
bases on info they get from YOU when you Search on Google.

2. We have TO MUCH ADVERTISING.
One way to reduce ads, and raise money for the states is to put a 5% Sales Tax on Ads - STONA -
that would raise $30 BILLION $$$$$$ per year,
and THE ONLY COST WOULD BE 5% LESS ADS.

From now on, I will USE YAHOO FOR MY SEARCHES.

I have started this new blogger,
where I will post QUESTIONS, and comments that - hopefully - will make the news easier to understand.

ONE of the tools I will use is - Google Alert.
I just started one on - "airport screeners"

For example - the WSJournal had a piece about ""the Senate voted 51-46 to give airport screeners union organization right.
HERE IS MY QUESTION - if "airport Screeners" form a union.
WHAT problem would it cause?

News ISN'T news anymore.
It is WHAT THE MEDIA WANTS TO TELL US.

STONA - 5% Sales Tax on Advertising = worth $30 Billion per year to the states,
and the ONLY Cost is 5% less ads.

WMart Bank - They will save us money on ALL our banking.

Channel Choice - On Cable TV

Affordable Health Care for everyone

Living Wage

Recycling should be encouraged.

Graffiti doers - when caught - should have to PAINT OVER.
